DesignerBox – Return & Exchange Policy

We accept returns for orders delivered in India if the product is defective, damaged, or different from what you ordered. Please follow the return process below.

1. Unboxing Video Required

You must record a full unboxing video at the time of opening the parcel.
The video must show the unopened package, the opening process, and the issue clearly.
Returns without an unboxing video cannot be accepted.

2. Return Request Timeline

You must inform us about any issue within 7 days of delivery.
Please contact us with your order number and unboxing video.

3. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
You may send the product back through any reliable courier or self-drop.

4. Refund or Exchange

After the returned product is received and verified by DesignerBox, your refund or exchange will be processed within 7 days.

5. Colour Variation Note

Please note that slight colour differences can occur due to:

  • Mobile screen brightness

  • Display settings

  • Lighting conditions during photography

These minor variations are not considered defects, so returns are not accepted for normal colour differences.

6. Return Eligibility by Product Type

  • Fabric: Returns accepted only for pieces above 2 metres, unused and uncut.

  • Buttons: Returns available only when the button order value is above ₹500.

7. Non-Returnable Conditions

We cannot accept returns if:

  • No unboxing video is provided

  • The item is used, washed, cut, or altered

  • Issues are reported after 7 days

  • There is no defect or difference from the order

  • Returns are not accepted for slight colour differences caused by screen/display settings. Minor colour variation between the website photos and what you see on your device is normal and not considered a defect.


DesignerBox – International Return Policy (USA & Other Countries)

DesignerBox accepts international returns only for orders that arrive defective or different from what was ordered. Please review the policy below for customers in the United States and all other countries outside India.


1. Eligible Return Reasons

International returns are accepted only if:

  • The product is defective, damaged, or incorrect

  • An issue is reported within 7 days of delivery

  • A full unboxing video is provided showing the parcel opening and defect

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Slight colour variation between website photos and device screens

  • Personal dislike, change of mind, wrong selection

  • Orders with a value below ₹5000 / equivalent local currency


2. Order Value Rule

  • For international orders below ₹5000, returns and exchanges are not accepted, except in cases of verified defects or wrong items.


3. Unboxing Video Requirement

A clear unboxing video is mandatory for all return claims.
The video must show:

  1. The sealed package

  2. Opening the parcel

  3. The product clearly showing the defect or difference

Without this video, returns cannot be processed.


4. Return Shipping Responsibility

For all international orders:

  • Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer

  • Customers must send items via a reliable international courier

DesignerBox does not provide return shipping labels for international orders.


5. Refund / Exchange Timeline

Once the returned product is received and inspected by DesignerBox:

  • Refunds or exchanges will be processed within 7 business days

  • Refunds are issued only to the original payment method


6. Non-Returnable Situations

DesignerBox cannot accept returns if:

  • No unboxing video is provided

  • More than 7 days have passed since delivery

  • The item is used, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery

  • There is only a slight colour difference (normal due to screens)

  • Order value is below ₹5000 (unless defective/wrong item)
